577 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for Defence, further to Question No. 106 of 23 March 2004, the extent and total land area covered by the four sub-areas shown on the map forming part of the draft protected area order for Baldonnel that was prepared by his Department in the 1950s; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The draft protected area order proposed in the 1950s, which was not promulgated, provided for four sub-areas in the general environs of Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel. The total area covered comprised 32,000 acres approximately.
