142 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he has had correspondence with the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government or local authorities with respect to increases in rates for businesses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not been in correspondence with local authorities concerning this matter. My Department has referred any specific issues regarding this topic to the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, who has overall responsibility for local authority funding.
