321 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Transport if he will report on the terms of employment which apply to an appointment made by him on 14 April 2005 (details supplied); and if he will provide details of the role and functions of this person since their appointment. [37824/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that the appointment was made by open competition run by the Public Appointments Service. The successful candidate was appointed as an unestablished civil servant pending the establishment of the public sector authority and has been working in the Department of Transport on that basis in the period since appointment.
