184 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the agencies or bodies his Department provides funding to or is administratively responsible for, and those agencies and bodies that his Department is responsible for in respect of Government policy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department is currently responsible for 30 commercial, non-commercial and regulatory State bodies, ten port companies and 14 harbour authorities. The bodies are comprehensively listed in Appendix C of my Department's Statement of Strategy 2005-2007. I have arranged for a copy of the statement of strategy to be forwarded to the Deputy.
