1200 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the action he proposes to take following his recent meeting with the executive director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2308/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe executive director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, UNODC, met me recently to discuss the issue of improving the rule of law in developing and post-conflict countries and to seek Ireland's support for measures to achieve this. I indicated that I would consider positively any proposals which the UNODC wished to make formally in this regard.
