Breen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children, further to Parliamentary Question No. 215 of 22 November 2005, the status of an application regarding the post of speech and language therapist for a school (details supplied) in County Clare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department made inquiries on the Deputy's behalf and has been advised by the Health Service Executive that a speech and language therapist commenced work on 6 January 2006 and is providing speech and language therapy service to the school (details supplied) in County Clare.
