Amharc ar fhreagraRecent correspondence on the file referred to by the Deputy suggests that the person concerned wishes to obtain Irish citizenship and in this regard she has requested that the correspondence which she submitted be regarded as an application for same. The most appropriate way for her to seek Irish citizenship is through the process of naturalisation. However, it will be necessary for her to complete the relevant statutory form which, I understand, has been sent to her in the last few days. A comprehensive information leaflet accompanying the form will assist her in completing the application.
