154 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the progress made to date in 2006 in appointing a new chief science adviser to the Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4094/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, following the resignation of the chief science adviser late last year, I announced that the post would be filled by open competition. The CSA is appointed by the Government and I intend to bring forward proposals to Government on this matter in the near future.
