341 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence if his Department has allocated funding to Kildare City Council regarding the takeover by the council of the road at Blackrath, Curragh, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4479/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraFollowing consultation between my Department and Kildare County Council last year, it was agreed that the council would take in charge the road at Blackrath. As part of that agreement, €8,600 was lodged by the Department of Defence with Kildare County Council on 10 October 2005 for the purpose of bringing the road up to the requisite standard prior to its being taken in charge.
