136 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if urgent measures for reform of the regulatory system of the telecommunications sector will be brought forward; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6728/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraI will shortly bring forward proposals in the form of a Bill to enhance the regulatory powers of ComReg in relation to the telecommunications sector. In addition to these proposals, the EU Commission is undertaking a review of the telecoms regulatory framework and I will be contributing to that review in due course.
