Amharc ar fhreagraThe inclusion of the pneumococcal vaccine in the primary childhood immunisation programme is currently under consideration by the national immunisation advisory committee as part of the review of the immunisation guidelines for Ireland. To date, no decision has been reached. My Department and the Health Service Executive will be guided by the expert advice from the national immunisation advisory committee in this regard.
