438 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason the music and religious exams are taking place at the same time as the leaving certificate on 22 June 2006; and if the same will be changed immediately. [7661/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations, including organising the holding of examinations, ensuring the preparation of examination papers and other examination materials, determining procedures in places where examinations are conducted, including the supervision of examinations, and making arrangements for the marking of work presented for examination. In view of this, I have forwarded the Deputy's query to the State Examinations Commission for direct reply to him.
