491 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he or his officials have discussed with the Department of Finance the now-completed report on local government financing; if the Minister for Finance has asked that the report not be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Finance was represented on the steering group, chaired by my Department, which oversaw the preparation and completion of the review of local government financing, and there has been ongoing interaction between the two Departments on the response to the report.
