I propose to take Questions Nos. 247 and 256 together.

The green schools programme implements in Ireland an international environmental education programme known as eco-schools, a programme of the Foundation for Environmental Education, FEE. FEE is an organisation founded to raise awareness of environmental issues through education. In Ireland more than 2,000 schools participate in the programme which is administered by An Taisce. Inquiries regarding the number of green flags awarded to schools in the specified geographical areas may appropriately be directed to An Taisce, 5A Swift's Alley, Francis Street, Dublin, orgreenschools@antaisce.org.
