O’Keeffe asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the position with regard to the extension to Schull Community Hospital in view of the fact that the draft design brief was sent by the health board to her Department almost four years ago; the action which has occurred in the meantime; and the prospective timetable for the completion of this work. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy's question refers to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. This includes responsibility for considering new capital proposals or progressing those in the health capital programme. Accordingly, my Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the executive to arrange to have this case investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
