75 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the appointment of full-time school chaplains in second level schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19801/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraEx-quota chaplain posts are allocated in respect of Community and Comprehensive Schools and designated Community Colleges. Discussions have taken place between officials of my Department and the relevant authorities in relation to the allocation of ex-quota chaplain posts to other second level schools. However, the allocation of such posts must be considered in the context of priority needs and available resources.
