93 Mr. Gregory asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 149 of 4 April 2006, if the working group has been set up; the agencies represented on it; the membership of same; and if the community and voluntary sector will be represented on it. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Mid-Term Review of the National Drugs Strategy recommended that a working group involving key stakeholders of both the alcohol and drugs areas should be established to explore the potential for better co-ordination between the two areas and how synergies could be improved. The working group, which is to be chaired by my Department, will also examine and make recommendations on whether a combined strategy is the appropriate way forward. The establishment of the working group is under consideration by my Department and it is intended that it should report by end 2006.
