O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science to explain the consultative process followed prior to her announcement of the Irish Language support package to the INTO conference at Easter 2006; and the Irish language organisations which were consulted in the preparation of the package. There was no consultation process that involved individuals or organisations outside of my Department prior to my announcement of the Irish language support package at this year's INTO Easter conference.
