Amharc ar fhreagraIn relation to unauthorised waste activities, it is a matter for the relevant individual local authorities and/or the Office of Environmental Enforcement to investigate any instances or reports of illegal disposal of waste and take any appropriate action in relation to such cases. My Department has no direct function in the matter. The arrangements made by local authorities or by the Office of Environmental Enforcement in relation to public access to information is primarily a matter for these bodies, subject to compliance with relevant statutory provisions.
