509 Mr. O’Connor asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will confirm that he is considering a new scheme of letting priorities submitted to him by South Dublin County Council which would include an initiative in respect of older persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. South Dublin County Council has submitted a revised scheme of letting priorities for approval to my Department. Following discussions and correspondence between the Department and the Council on the contents of the revised scheme, it is expected that a decision will be conveyed to the Council shortly.
