515 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the steps he will take to update regulations on conditions and standards in landlord owned properties and on the general up keep and maintenance of such properties; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The action programme on private rented standards, which I announced last month, includes a commitment that a general review of the existing standards regulations will commence later this year. This will be carried out in consultation with the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB), local authorities and other relevant interests.
