234 Mr. O’Dowd asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will confirm future plans for Mountjoy and Fitzgibbon Street Garda Stations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [33910/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraNo final decision has been made in relation to the future of the Mountjoy and Fitzgibbon Street Stations. The decision to dispose of the Mountjoy Prison complex and the need to address the accommodation issues at Fitzgibbon Street stations are factors being considered in this regard. I will be advised by the Garda Authorities on this matter taking into account the policing requirements of the area.
