269 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding the provision of a new Garda station in Castleisland, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35246/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraIt is expected that a sketch scheme for the new Garda Area Headquarters at Castleisland will be ready by the end of the year for the approval of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform and the Garda Authorities. On approval of the sketch scheme a Part 9 planning process will be initiated in early 2007.
