Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department is aware of the siltation problem in the harbour and are currently monitoring the extent of siltation. In this regard, a hydrographic survey of the harbour has recently been completed and the results are currently being evaluated. There are highly elevated levels of TBT and heavy metals contamination existing in the harbour seabed sediments.
