Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of units of accommodation built by cooperative housing associations, as distinct from voluntary housing associations, under the capital funding schemes from 2000 to 2005 in Galway County and City; the locations of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 261 and 262 together.

In the period 2000-2005 funding was allocated under the capital funding schemes to co-operative housing bodies in respect of 419 units of accommodation. The details are set out in the following table.
