104 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the extent to which an application for naturalisation has been progressed in the case of persons (details supplied) in Dublin 24; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42230/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraApplications for naturalisation from the individuals in question were received in the Citizenship Division of my Department on 15 March 2005. Applications received in the second half of 2004 are currently being processed and there are approximately 1550 applications awaiting processing before that of the persons in question. It is likely that the processing of these applications in question will commence in mid 2007. I will inform the Deputy and the persons concerned when I have reached a decision on the matter.
