1646 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to additional permanent accommodation required for a school (details supplied) in County Kildare to cater for pupils and teachers and so on, plus ancillary accommodation requirements; the timeframe for same; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm to the Deputy that the Department is in receipt of an application for large scale capital funding from the school to which the Deputy refers. The project has been assessed in accordance with the published prioritisation criteria for large scale capital projects. Progress on the proposed works is being considered in the context of the School Building and Modernisation Programme from 2007 onwards.
