153 Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people presenting for cocaine addiction who have contracted Hepatitis C; if it is possible to contract Hepatitis C from sharing the straw used to sniff cocaine; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
