Ceist:167 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork was told that they would not be granted a mobility allowance on the grounds of age and that they should be between the ages of 18 and 66 to be eligible for same; and the further reason it has taken so long to allocate them an electric wheelchair despite the fact that they had a leg amputated in May 2005.
