O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the number of appointments to State boards, State bodies or other like entities which he envisages making or nominating in the period 26 March 2007 to 31 May 2007; if he will identify any such board, body or entity involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe five statutory agencies operating under the aegis of my Department are the Pensions Board, the Combat Poverty Agency, the Citizens Information Board (formerly Comhairle), the Family Support Agency and the Social Welfare Tribunal. In addition the Pensions Ombudsman comes under the remit of my Department.
There are 2 vacancies on the Citizens Information Board which are in the process of being filled.
