O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of appointments to State boards, State bodies or other like entities which he envisages making or nominating in the period 26 March 2007 to 31 May 2007; if he will identify any such board, body or entity involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI do not envisage making any appointments or nominating any individuals to State Boards, State Bodies or other like entities in the period 26 March 2007 to 31 May 2007. For completeness I might however add that a decision on possible retention of certain existing members of a particular board, whose terms will soon expire, may arise for consideration by Government during the period in question.
