Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an Inland Revenue Affidavit was received in the case of the named estate. So that the amount of Probate Tax liability can be established, a Probate Tax Form [form PT1] was requested from the Solicitor on 15th February 2007 but this has not yet been returned. It is not possible to determine the liability to Probate Tax until Form PT1 is received.
In addition insufficient information is available to determine whether there is a Capital Acquisitions Tax liability in respect of the beneficiaries or any other tax liability in respect of the estate. No request has been received to waive liability.
