502 Deputy Michael Noonan asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress made in the provision of a new amalgamated secondary school for Doon, County Limerick; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [16635/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am pleased to inform the Deputy that an agreement has been reached to amalgamate the three post-primary schools in Doon/Cappamore. The new amalgamated school will be a voluntary secondary school. A suitable site has been identified and the acquisition of same is currently underway.
