634 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position in relation to an application for naturalisation in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16560/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Immigration Division of my Department that there has been no application for Naturalisation on behalf of the person referred to by the Deputy. The person concerned made an application for long term residency in June 2006. She has recently been granted permission to remain for a five year period with an exemption from work permit requirements.
