1157 Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his Department provides funding for the city and county managers associations, or if local authorities are empowered to fund this organisation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not provide funding to the County and City Managers Association (CCMA). However, the Local Government Management Services Board (LGMSB), in accordance with its Establishment Order, supports the CCMA. The LGMSB is in turn funded by local authorities.
