233 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance the timetable for construction, and completion of the decentralisation of the Property Registration Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20875/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraTenders for the provision of office accommodation for the Property Registration Authority in Roscommon are due in October 2007. Following evaluation of the tenders it is expected that a Preferred Tenderer will be selected by December 2007 who will then be instructed to apply for planning permission. On receipt of satisfactory planning permission, the OPW will request the Preferred Tenderer to submit working drawings and a Bill of Quantities with a view to a contract being placed and work commencing on site at the earliest possible date. It is anticipated that the building will be completed in 2009.
