424 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if she has received a report into the feasibility of introducing the vaccine damage compensation scheme by the vaccine damage steering group; the recommendations of the group; the steps she will take to implement the recommendations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have received an interim report from the Vaccine Damage Steering Group detailing its work to date. The Group is continuing with it's consideration of this matter, and is consulting with a number of representative bodies and individuals, and I look forward to receiving their final recommendations when their work is complete.
