314 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when he expects to provide the funding for the upgrading of sewage treatment facilities at Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23149/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe provision of a new waste water treatment plant in Ballymore Eustace has been approved for funding under the Serviced Land Initiative measure of my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009 at an estimated cost of €1.4 million. My Department is awaiting submission of a revised Design Review Report for the scheme by Kildare County Council. Following approval of the design, the Council will be in a position to prepare Contract Documents and to advance the scheme to construction.
