Ceist:

183 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of programme managers, special advisors, policy assistants, personnel on secondment and other personnel who are not part of the existing Civil Service who make up his Department, including permanent civil servants attached to the office of the Minister and Minister of States; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In addition to the above there are a total of eleven Civil Servants attached to my Office. These staffing levels are in line with those provided for in the guidelines to Ministers, and are paid for out of the vote of the Department, approved by the Oireachtas (full details of these costs were given at the estimates debate).

Staffing of the Office of Minister for Integration is dealt with by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
