Ceist:

220 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he convenes specific policy meetings with officials in his Department; the way a policy meeting with officials is different to that of a management meeting, such as a management advisory committee meeting; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 219 and 220 together.

I can confirm that my Department has a management advisory committee with whom I meet on most weeks, or as required. My special advisor normally also attends these meetings. I also of course meet on an ongoing basis with Department officials to discuss relevant matters as necessary.
