177 Deputy Fergus O’Dowd asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance if a press adviser travels with him on official visits; and if there were official visits attended by him in the past year at which a press adviser was not present or was not in contact with him. [33659/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Tánaiste and Minister for Finance I do not have a press advisor. My Department's Press Officer attends most public engagements at home and abroad. On occasions where the Department's Press Officer was not in attendance on official visits, my Special Adviser undertook the necessary press functions.
