176 Deputy Charles Flanagan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has received a request for funding from a group (details supplied); and if same will be considered in the context of grant aid arrangements. [34923/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department received a request for funding from this organisation on the 11th December 2007. However as operational responsibility for the management and delivery of health and personal social services was assigned to the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004, the correspondence has been forwarded directly to the HSE. The Executive is the appropriate body to consider the particular matter raised by the Deputy. The Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive have been asked to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
