1212 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the procedure to be followed for a stamp four visa application to be made in the names of persons (details supplied) in Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1627/08]
Amharc ar fhreagraI would refer the Deputy to my replies to Questions Nos. 423 on 27 September, 2006 and 259 on 5 July, 2007. The persons concerned were refused permission to remain in the State under the revised arrangements announced on 15th January 2005, commonly referred to as the IBC/05 Scheme. My Department is currently considering a number of judgements delivered by the Supreme Court relating to the IBC/05 Scheme. The implications for individual cases, and for the Judicial Review proceedings ongoing in this case, are being assessed.
