154 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the extent to which he proposes to address issues such as anti-social behaviour by way of funding through the various schemes operated by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, addressing anti social behaviour is primarily a matter for my colleague, the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform. My Department does, however, operate a number of grant schemes and programmes, such as the RAPID Programme and the Young People's Facilities and Services Fund, which specifically support local communities address social and economic disadvantage, including the issue of anti-social behaviour.
Details of all the programmes and schemes operated by my Department, including eligibility criteria can be accessed on the Department's website at www.pobail.ie It should be noted, however, that each of the schemes and programmes operated by my Department are governed by rules and regulations, which projects must meet in order to qualify for funding.
