652 Deputy Joanna Tuffy asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Study; if he plans to take steps to have this study reviewed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14404/08]
Amharc ar fhreagraI understand that a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is being carried out by Fingal County Council in relation to the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Study and that the results of the public consultation process in relation to the Environmental Report element of the SEA are under consideration by the Council. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on the process in the meantime, or to anticipate the likely outcome.
