Amharc ar fhreagraThe Irish College of General Practitioners has informed my Department that the number of General Practitioners (GPs) who are in active practice is about 2,500. GPs working in the General Medical Services (GMS) Scheme hold a contract with the Health Service Executive (HSE). Therefore, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to examine this matter and to provide the available information directly to the Deputy.
