768 Deputy Noel J. Coonan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the proposals for the development of farmland at Dromard, Templemore, County Tipperary which was purchased for further development by the Garda College in Templemore; the timeframe for the proposed development; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraIt is planned to develop the farmland at Dromard, Templemore for the training of members of An Garda Síochána across a range of disciplines. I am advised by the Garda authorities that the development of the site is still at the conceptual planning stage and that the Garda authorities, in consultation with the Office of Public Works, are advancing their plans.
As the proposed plan is still at an early development stage, it is not possible to give a definite timeframe for its development.
