1177 Deputy Leo Varadkar asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if a company (details supplied) has been awarded contracts by his Department, or any of its agencies, since 2000; the value of the contracts and the length of contract signed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs was established in June 2002. Since that date my Department has no record of awarding any contract to the company referred to by the Deputy. In addition, I am advised that no contract has been awarded by any of the agencies under the ambit of my Department.
