354 Deputy Seán Sherlock asked the Minister for Finance his views on the implementation of proposals put forward by the Construction Industry Federation for the regeneration of the construction sector and particularly with regard to achieving greater energy efficiency in older houses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have received a pre-Budget submission from Construction Industry Federation. Its contents will be considered in the context of the forthcoming Budget and Finance Bill. As Deputies are aware it would not be appropriate for me to comment in advance of the Budget on possible Budget decisions.
