13 Deputy Ciarán Lynch asked the Minister for Finance if he will confirm that persons appointed to positions under the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 and the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland Act 2004 were appointed in accordance with the regulations set out in these Acts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In response to the Deputy's question the persons appointed under the Public Services Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 and the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland Act 2004 were appointed in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions outlined in the Acts.
